OneSteel has showcased its industry commitment at the most recent AusRAIL PLUS industry event.

Representatives from OneSteel Manufacturing Pty Ltd (Administrators Appointed) (“OneSteel”) attended the annual conference at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre late last year.

AusRAIL PLUS is Australia’s premier rail industry event, bringing together over 600 exhibitors and 7000 attendees for three days of keynote presentations, technical sessions and networking opportunities.

With steelworks operations now stabilised, OneSteel has recently hosted several customer site visits, giving stakeholders the chance to see steelmaking and manufacturing back at full capacity under KordaMentha administration, backed by South Australian State and Federal government support package and the dedication of our workforce.

Head of Sales and Marketing, Ashleigh Williams said the conference provided an excellent platform for OneSteel to reconnect and collaborate with rail industry partners, share encouraging updates on stabilisation measures and production improvements and reaffirm its commitment to supplying quality Whyalla-produced steel Rail for Australia’s rail sector.

“AusRAIL PLUS 2025 was a timely opportunity to engage with the industry and provide positive business updates to our partners,” Ashleigh said.

“We not only strengthened customer relationships but also gained valuable insights into upcoming projects and emerging trends through the conference program.”

Presented by the Australian Railway Association (ARA), AusRAIL is the major annual event for the rail industry. ARA represents more than 230 member organisations including passenger and freight operators, track owners and managers, suppliers, manufacturers, contractors and consultants.
